What is Rotary?
Rotary International, now more than 100 years old, is the world’s first service club organization. The 1.2 million men and women of Rotary are business and professional leaders dedicated to making a difference in communities around the world through the credo “Service Above Self.” Members are volunteers who work on both local and international projects to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peaceand eradicate polio. With Rotary, it’s easy to be active and make a difference. Whether your interests lie in education, mentoring youth, clean water, healthcare, economic development, peace initiatives or a number of community service projects, there is always something to do.
